On Aug 28, 2016 a 2009 Dodge Journey driven by Pamela Kay Hormsher was traveling westbound on Jaguar Blvd approaching the intersection of Homestead Rd S, facing a stop sign. 2012 Sonata driven Megan Nicole Tejeda was traveling northbound on Homestead Rd S approaching the intersection of Jaguar Blvd. The driver of Journey failed to observe the stop sign and attempted to cross the intersection of Homestead Rd S. The Journey failed to notice the Sonata approaching and as a result entered its path. The Sonata struck Journey in the left side with the front of Sonata. The driver of Journey was pronounced deceased on 8/30/16 at 4:46 PM at Lee Memorial Hospital.
