Lillian P. (Plasse) Beauregard, 86

Lillian P. (Plasse) Beauregard, 86 of Lehigh Acres, entered into eternal life on Friday July 29, 2016. She was the wife of the late Oscar J Beauregard. She was born on May 3rd, 1930 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island the daughter of the late Edouard and Laura (Jacob) Plasse. Lillian was predeceased by her brother Roland Plasse and her sisters Jeannette Gauthier, Therese Monaghan, Lucille Desaulniers, Evelyn Boucher, and Muriel Plasse. She is survived by her sisters Yvette Piette and Helen Menoche.  She is also survived by her daughters Linda Scott of Enfield, CT and Nancy George of Broad Brook, CT, grandchildren Tracy Krape (Steve), Cindy Blazys (Lenny), Benjamin Scott, Christopher Brodeur (Sheila), Holly Surrette (Bill), Rachel Goulet (Warren), Brandon George (Amanda), Aram Brodeur, Cherilee Bolieau (Roger), Candy George (Matthew) many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition Lillian is survived by the many loyal friends she made during her years in Florida.

Lillian retired in 1987 after working for 33 years as a microfiche technician in the insurance field. She enjoyed her time and leadership positions at the AMVETS Auxiliary Post 18 when she lived in Connecticut. After she moved to Florida, she found joy in her volunteer work with 19 years as part of the hospital auxiliary and 26 years at the Lehigh Senior Center. She greeted members, enjoyed making crafts, being part of the theatre group and baking homemade cookies for special events.

A celebration and remembrance of Lillian’s life will be held on Wednesday August 3, 2016 4:00 pm – 6:00pm at Gendron Funeral home, 2701 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres. There will be a service on Thursday morning at 9:30 am at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2514 Lee Boulevard Lehigh Acres.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian’s memory can be made to the Lehigh Senior Center at 219 Plaza Drive, Lehigh Acres.
