Hall a certificate of appreciation
American Legion Post 323 in Lehigh Acres raised more than $1000 for charity with help from the Save-A-Lot Food Store on Homestead Road.
The store’s manager, Darrell Hall provided fresh cut meats at a reduced price for a meat raffle. Proceeds supported the post’s Veteran Affairs and Rehabilitation fund, which provides assistance to needy veterans.
Michael Mason, commander of Post 323 presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Hall in recognition of the store’s support.
Mason went on to say, “We are very proud of what we do for our veterans and community. With the help of Save-A-Lot and other community-minded businesses, we are able to help veterans and their families at times when they need a helping hand. We are veterans helping veterans.”
