If you like hear more these projects they are having an open public meeting July 28 2016 at 5:30 at 1299 Homestead Rd in the Sheriff’s community room
Just what we need, more traffic at the corner of Homestead and Leeland Heights. That intersection should be 2 turning lanes from South Homestead to East Leeland Heights
Seriously like we need another gas station. . With all of this revenue maybe our taxes could be lowered
Circle k on joel would be nice or maybe a publix
I personally think we need at least eight or nine more dollar stores I personally think we need at least 8 or 9 more dollars stores and at least 10 or 12 more gas stations don’t put in a Home Depot or a Lowe’s that could employ 100 people
What will happen to the Taco place?
Lehigh needs more than additional gas stations and convenience stores. We need to stay here to shop. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Kohls or even another restaurant, fine dining to sit down for a good meal…steak house ? and for heaven’s sake, NO MORE DOLLAR STORES….that intersection is a bad place simply due to traffic. Whatever goes in there should not have access to Homestead or Leland Heights…entry should be from the back.
Having worked for Broward County for the past 32 years I have seen such an explosion of greed develop in a community by allowing gas stations and convenient stores just about on every major roadway there is.The traffic that is caused by these locations demands more alighment of the roads with turning lanes and more streetlights you can imagine.Putting a 7/11 in this location is a disaster !!!! This will not only lead to more traffic but pollution from gas fumes and runoff.I can understand that people need to work but a 7/11? Let’s be more constructive and build where it’s needed on SR 82. People it’s not a problem to drive a mile down the road if you need some fuel.
I was hoping for a Racetrac or a WaWa they keep their facilities neat and clean, you can almost always find a squeegee to do your windows; most of the new stations have ethanol free gas.
