  1. I do not understand how the news papers are endorsing Patricca over Fayhee. It absolutely makes no sense to me. I have been a teacher and a parent in this community for decades. I am highly involved in the workings of the school board. Lori Fayhee is active and fighting for better. Our children are being sorted and labeled by test scores, from tests that we have proven invalid. Thousands of students drop out or do not graduate based on FCAT and FSA. It is killing our schools and Lori Fayhee knows that and fights that… I hope your readers look further. Unlike her opponent, Lori Fayhee wants local control and wants to NOT raise taxes. Her opponent, whom you endorsed, is pushing for all the wrong things. Watch the board meetings. Ask the teachers. Ask the parents. My vote lies with Fayhee for School Board, district 3(Estero/Bonita).Fayhee for you. #RememberNovember

    1. We respect your opinion but we have asked the questions to the teachers and parents and our recommendation still goes to Chris Patricca.

    3. I also think its a relatively false accusation to say Patricca wants higher taxes. At best, she remains ambiguous to it, but from my understanding she wishes to find all budgetary options first before raising taxes.

  2. You obviously didn’t do a very good job vetting Dan Sinclair seeing as how he is mixed up in a hit and run incident and most likely is under investigation by the sheriffs department for his involvement.

    1. Sinclair is NOT under investigation by the LCSO he was ask by FMPD to submit DNA and Fingerprints and he did involuntarily. This does not make him guilty, by the way NBC2 stories are wrong and they know it.

Dan Sinclair has had porn linked to his Twitter page, was under investigation for hacking into the Supervisor of Elections site, and was called for questioning in relation to a fatal hit and run accident by the FMPD. Even if all of NBC-2’s reports aren’t alway 100% accurate is does seem that this man is always into/around some sort of trouble! I would encourage any one on Facebook to read the comments under his stories and see all the bad business they are reporting have expirenced with him in the past.

    1. You must not understand how twitter and Facebook work, even the Lehigh Acres Gazette has issues with people linking questionable items to our pages. We are recommending Dan Sinclair for Supervisor of Elections during the primary election period. But we do respect you comments.

    2. Also who cares if Dan likes porn? I like porn too. We all have the God given right to pursue our happiness as we see fit. Idt it will affect his work.

    I, like Bonnie, endorse Lori Fayhee, as she has been at my side seeking reforms for years. If you want higher taxes, lower results and more tests, just go with Patricca and Morgan. They represent the “old guard” responsible for a 23% drop in scores in Lee County over the last 4 years. Where is their plan?

    1. Again, I dont necessarily think Patricca is for higher taxes. She is definitely more moderate sure, but I have yet to hear her promote higher taxes.

  6. A mixed bag here. Like you have strong conservatives like Eller and Quackenbush, and then more liberal/progressive candidates like Flores, Anderson, and Maughan. I find that very unique.

    I hope everyone reads up on all candidates and makes their own decisions.

  7. I also want to make everyone aware that Rep. Hudson has voted to take away MY gun rights personally. As well the gun rights of others. He claims to defend the Second Amendment but not for me. Dont vote him or Rep. Passidomo. Both want gun control.
