The Caribbean American Social Club of Lehigh Acres recently presented two high school seniors with a $1,000 college scholarship each. President Orville Hall recognized the students at the club’s annual banquet at the Majestic Golf Club. The student recipients were Farha Deceus, of Lehigh Senior High School, and Vanessa Casiano, of East Lee County High School. Lifetime Achievement Awards was given to Vincent Moses and Marie
Sallade, while the Henry M. Garner Contribution Award went to Nola Hall.
Known as CASCOLA, the club meets at the St. Anselm Episcopal Church, at 2201 E. Sixth St. New members and guests are welcome.
