Man Sentenced For 2012 Double-Murder

Justin Daniel Wirth

A 20-year-old will spend his life in prison for the 2012 murders of a teen and mother as announced in a sentence hearing Monday.

Justin Daniel Wirth was found guilty on his birthday in March of two counts of first-degree murder for the killing of 16-year-old William “Dalton” Haley and his mother 43-year-old Amy Loreh in their Lehigh Acres home. He was also convicted of armed robbery.

Wirth’s friend, Clayton Combs, accepted a plea deal and was given 40 years in prison. He also faced first-degree murder charges in the crime but testified against Wirth in March.

All three men, Wirth, Haley and Combs, attended Riverdale High School as teens.

Just days after the murders, Wirth is heard speaking about his intentions, saying “I went there to take him (Haley) out. I just shot him when he got around the corner in the back of the head.”
