Olga Wood has been selected as featured artist for the month of April 2016 at the Arts of the Inland Gallery at Lehigh Regional Medical Center Café at 1500 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, FL. The AOI gallery at the Café at Lehigh Regional Medical center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
Inspiration for Olga’s art comes from nature. Her most recent subjects have been large birds and other wildlife that can be found here in Southwest Florida. When she started to paint, she worked with oil paints but has transitioned to acrylics.
Olga regularly enters her work in Arts of the Inland competitions and has a third place ribbon as well as a People’s Choice Award to her credit. Two of her paintings have also been selected for book covers and she has done a special exhibit for the Unitarian Universalist Church in Fort Myers. Many of Olga’s paintings can often be found on display at Lehigh Veteran’s Park and at the AOI Gallery at Keiser University.
