The Lehigh Concert Band will perform two more concerts to finish off the season. On Sunday March 20, at 3:00 P.M. at Sweatlock Hall, Faith Lutheran church, 705 Leeland Heights Blvd. Lehigh Acres and on Saturday April 2, at 7:00 P.M. at New Life Assembly, 5146 Leonard Blvd. S. Lehigh Acres. The Band will perform an incredible selection of music including the sing along tunes of Highlights from Jersey Boys, display the amazing technical skills of the euphonium solo Napoli, Andrew Lloyd Weber’s music from The Phantom of the Opera, emotional vocal solo renditions of What a Wonderful World and You Raise Me Up, the Irish step dance tune Lord of the Dance which is sure to get your feet moving, a swinging Original Dixieland Concerto, a stirring Overture called Sedona, a flute duet, some Disney music, Sousa and more. It is a not to be missed concert of Lehigh’s only community concert band. At the April concert the band will be splitting any donations with Lehigh Community Services and also awarding it’s music scholarship to one of its deserving members.
