The General Woman’s Club of Lehigh Acres, is once again hosting their Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon on Saturday, March 26, 2016. This year’s theme is Bling into Spring!
Our records show that the Club has been hosting a Fashion Show Luncheon at various locations since 1985 to help raise funds in order to award scholarships to residents of Lehigh Acres. This year the Club is also celebrating their 55th Anniversary.
Every year members of the Club work together to contact local sponsor to donate gifts to help us raise additional funds. At the luncheon we will have a 50/50 drawing which is everyone’s favorite and raffles on many baskets and gift certificates. The luncheon will be held at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Myers, from 11:30am to 3:00pm. The Colonial Country Club always provides a fabulous meal and service to all out guests.
The fashions presented at this event is by Chico’s from the Bell Tower Shoppes. Chico’s is presenting their latest spring fashion line, while giving eight Club members the honor to model their fashions. Models show above are from left to right, sitting: Linda Addison, Diane Lashua, Connie Puzevic

Tickets are $25 per person for the luncheon and can be purchased by contacting the event’s chairman, Miriam Anderson at 239-823-3892. No tickets will be sold at the door.
In the past few years many of the scholarship recipients have written to us thanking us for the scholarships and to tell us how helpful they have been and how appreciative they are. They continue to write and keep us up to date on the progress of their education and career.
