VegHeads 4-H Club installed an edible garden as one of their community service projects on Valentines Day. The 4×8 raised bed garden was filled with soil, plants and seeds and provided free of charge to a local family.
The Vegheads also run the only free vegetable seed library in SW Florida as another community service project. Stop by Veterans Park Rec Center, located at 55 Homestead Road South in Lehigh, anytime they are open and ask for your free seeds.
Rural King, of Bonita Springs, is the VegHeads sponsor for both community service projects.
