With the goal of keeping all drivers safe on the roads, but especially our mature drivers, this quick comprehensive check of how to ensure your vehicle “fits” you the best will cover the best way to avoid blind spots, special adaptation solutions for folks with limited mobility, and much more. All participants will receive a goodie bag that contains community traffic safety resource information.
“CarFit provides older adults with the tools to understand and apply the safety features of their vehicles,” says Stacey Payne, Community Relations Director of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. “From start to finish the entire check-up takes less than 30 minutes and is well worth your time.”
