It time that Lehigh Acres grows up because status quo is not working anymore.
Let’s talk about the Lehigh Acres Spring Festival first and their cancelation the 2016 GRAND Parade. Leigh Acres has had a parade once a year since 1972. And now the committee refuses to put one on why because of the so called lack of funding. But I went out and got two business in town to donate $5000.00 to cover the parade cost and the Andy Reisinger refuses to call me and take the money. Also we have left messages for their President Judy Carter and no return call. Why because it does not have to do with the money.
Status Quo must change with the Lehigh Acres Spring Festival Committee …. New Leadership must be found ASAP for this 40 year plus tradition to last another 40 years.
Let’s talk about the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce for a moment. A Chamber’s mission should create an environment in which businesses can prosper. Our business’ Lehigh Acres are hurting and now our heavily taxed by our own Fire Department.
The main function of a Chamber of Commerce is to promote interest in local business possibilities. Money, Planning, Inspiration, and Guidance. Including promoting the community of Lehigh Acres. The Chamber must provide an expanding market for construction, real estate and insurance professionals by promoting business, and attracting new industries and residents to this community.
So where is the Inspiration, and Guidance Chamber? Status Quo does not work.
