The General Woman’s Club of Lehigh Acres Fashion Show committee for 2016, shown above, have been meeting in preparation for the Club’s largest fundraiser, the annual Fashion Show Luncheon. The members present at this meeting are from left to right (top row) Sandi Jones, Beverly Presnell, Karen Geckler, Betty Walsh, Venita Prescott, Carol Neary, Jean McDonald, seated from left to right are Miriam Anderson, Mary Miller, Laura Milenkevich and Judy Olson. Members are contacting various local businesses for their support in donating items to be raffled such as gift baskets, gift cards or certificates, etc. or to purchase an ad to be printed in the program to promote your business. If you are interested is supporting this event please contact Miriam Anderson at 239-823-3892.The Fashion Show Luncheon will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Colonial Country Club and the company, Chico’s, of the Bell Tower Mall, will be presenting their Spring line. Ticket are $25 per person and tickets go on sale starting Friday, February 19. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Additional upcoming events for the Club are: Family & Friends Picnic, and the Club’s Spring Tea Party, all are welcomed, and call for details.
The next monthly meeting for the Club will held on Friday, February 19 at 1:00pm at the Faith Lutheran Church, Sweatlock Room, 705 Leeland Heights Blvd E,Lehigh Acres FL 33936. Guests are welcomed.
