Vehicle Arrest Made

John Hall

On Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at approximately 6:37 p.m., deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office were flagged down by a motorist who explained that he was traveling eastbound on Lee Blvd when an unknown white male shot into his vehicle near the 7-Eleven located at 4325 Lee Blvd. The victim pointed out a male later identified as John Hall, a white male born October 18, 1966, who was walking in the direction of 7-Eleven.

While attempting to make contact with the suspect, deputies observed Hall walk under the 7-Eleven’s service area overhang and fire one round from a black revolver into the gas station’s metal roof. Deputies approached the suspect and were able to restrain him without further incident.

On January 4, 2015, Hall provided a statement to detectives with Lee County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit in which he claimed to have been high on methamphetamine during the incident.

Hall is charged with multiple weapons charges including discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and criminal mischief.
