A 39-year-old Lehigh Acres man is in the Lee County Jail on a kidnapping charge after a Monday morning incident in which police say he unlawfully enticed a four-year-old boy using a toy.
A probable cause statement from the Fort Myers Police Department said Geoffry Jekanoski was holding the boy by the shoulder and walking away from a home on Silver Birch Way in the Sherwood Estates subdivision when the homeowner, Travis Lee Marchand, came outside.
FMPD said Jekanoski will be undergoing a mental evaluation.
