Save-A-Lot in Lehigh Acres
Donates to Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County

Save-A-Lot in Lehigh Acres recently donated $800 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County from the annual fundraiser held in July.

Zach Berard, General Manager of Save-A-Lot who hosted the fundraiser, presented a check to BGCLC which will be used to help maintain the Lehigh Acres Club programs.

The Clubs have a five core program curriculum, covering academics, character building, leadership, arts, sports and fitness, and healthy lifestyles. BGCLC’s most utilized program is Power Hour, which provides homework help and tutoring.

“We are so thankful to Save A Lot for the donation and look forward to the lasting relationship and impact this will have on the Club ” said Kelly Smith, Program Director of the Lehigh Acres Club.

The donation will help support the Clubs mission to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
