The United States Department of Agriculture has announced a change to its policy for serving meals to students under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for the 2015-2016 school year. In cooperation with this policy change, all students at the following Lehigh Acres locations will be served lunch and breakfast at no charge, regardless of family income status:

- Harns Marsh Middle
- Lehigh Acres Middle
- Lehigh Elementary
- Lehigh Senior High
- Mirror Lakes Elementary
- River Hall Elementary
- Riverdale High
- Sunshine Elementary
- Tortuga Preserve Elementary
- Varsity Lakes
- Veterans Park K-8
