Why is it that Lehigh Acres residents cannot get the truth out of the Fire Chief and the five elected fire commissioners?
This community is going to be facing the largest tax increase ever in the history of Lehigh Acres in a few months ….. do you have the money to payup? How many businesses will we lose over the next year because of this?
How many seniors will not be able eat or take their medicines because they must pay the tax increase.
My husband has tried for months to get documents for the Lehigh Acres Fire Department about the Fire Assessment Fee, but Chief Wayne has put up brick walls, and even lied to the State Attorney Office about the requested documents. And the fire board commissioners, including Chairman Larry Becker continue to allow this behavior from this fire chief, why?
Chairman Becker even allowed Chief Wayne to verbally attack members of the audience at a public hearing recently. So what are they hiding? What are they so afraid of, “The Truth”? Isn’t the fire department a government entity and the law states they must be transparent, then why hide
documents?
I believe it’s time for some change in Lehigh Acres. There will be three seats are up for re-election on the Lehigh Acres Fire Board in November 2016.
I would like you the voters in Lehigh Acres to consider voting for my husband of 23 years, Robert Anderson for the Lehigh Acres Fire Board Seat 3 in November 2016.
Robert will bring true transparency to the fire department, Fix this largest tax increase to a fair and equitable system and stop this dysfunctional board in destroying the future of this community of Lehigh Acres that I have called home for the past 15 years.
I ask for your help to fix the fire board by considering voting for my husband, Robert Anderson.
