Eight year old Dashna Foreste Ertchlyne, according to witnesses, she darted out into Homestead Rd on Tuesday July 28, 2015. According to the LCSO report Rafael Giovanni driving a vehicle for West Coast Fire and Protection tried to avoid hitting Ertchlyne, but she ended up on the other side of the road on the sidewalk. Lehigh Fire was called and she was transport to Lee Memorial Trauma Center and then later air lifted to Tampa General in critical condition.
