Lee County Sheriff Deputies blocked off a neighborhood in Lehigh Acres as they conducted a suspect search along 29th Street SW off SR-82.
Deputies were stationed at every street corner and some searched through the woods with K-9 units.
We are told the LCSO was searching for a male suspect in connection to vehicle break-ins in the area. The search started around 4 a.m. and lasted until about 5:30 a.m.
The LCSO would not state if they apprehended the suspect.
