When the Lehigh Acres Gazette was doing a follow up on a story about the Greater Lehigh Chamber of Commerce; we first called the Chairman Steve Thomas and he wasn’t available. So we called a couple of other board members to talk to them.
So out of the blue Thomas calls the Lehigh Acres Gazette while he is not of town and states today he is issued an order that he as the Chairman or the President Inke Baker of the Chamber of Commerce will be the only people talking to media only; and no other board member may not talk to any media period.
“If any other board member talks to any media outlet about the chamber business they will be asked to resign immediately,” said Thomas
So what is happening at the Greater Lehigh Chamber of Commerce? Why the new gag order? Doesn’t Thomas understand the Constitution of the United States?
