A bizarre scene in Lehigh Acres Monday afternoon resulted in a man crashing his car into a canal.
It happened shortly after noon at a canal alongside County Road 82. The driver claims he was heading east on 82 when a car suddenly swerved into his path, forcing him to lose control and veer off the road — right into the canal.
Thankfully, the driver wasn’t hurt in all this, and the car has since been pulled from that canal.
