Over Half A Million Dollars Worth of Weed Wiped Out

On April 30, 2015 the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics/Vice Unit, with the assistance of the Field Support Unit, participated in a statewide marijuana grow house eradication operation. The members located two marijuana grow houses during the operation.

The first location was at 3311 4th Street SW in Lehigh Acres. A search warrant was prepared and executed at the residence. The residence was occupied by Marcos Antonio Perez-Lamba (DOB 08/17/64). There were approximately 20 plants within two rooms, which had been converted, to grow marijuana. Detectives removed the plants from two separate rooms. Perez-Lamba was taken into custody and charged with Trafficking in Marijuana and Possession of a structure knowing to traffic drugs. The estimated street value of the marijuana for this location is $115,500.00 dollars.

A second house was discovered by detectives at 3318 49th Street West in Lehigh Acres. A search warrant was prepared and executed at the residence. The residence was occupied by Eduardo Cicero Menendez (DOB 07/08/1990) and Isaac Montes DeOca (DOB 07/28/1970). Detectives removed 89 plants from three separate rooms converted into grow rooms. Menendez and DeOca were both taken into custody and charged with Trafficking in Marijuana and Possession of a structure knowing to traffic drugs. The estimated street value of the marijuana for this location is $450,500.00 dollars.

In total, a street value of $566,000 worth of marijuana was removed from the streets of Lee County.
