An Advance Discount Auto Parts store in Lehigh Acres was robbed on Wednesday night, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The robbery call came in around 8:50 pm for the store at 403 Sunshine Boulevard.
An employee told authorities that an unknown black male in a black shirt with a blue apron came into the store, according to an incident report. He was holding a black semi-automatic pistol and told the employee to open the cash register, the report shows.
The employee gave the suspect money, according to the report.
The sheriff’s office used a K-9 and a aerial search with an aviation unit – but didn’t find the suspect, the report shows.
