The Lee County Sheriff’s office with the help of the Salvation Army and others are weeding out the homeless camps in Lehigh Acres. With the help of the juvenile justice kids and others they are cleaning up the left behind disasters in the camps.
LCSO found one man today living in the homeless camp off Beth Stacey Boulevard in Lehigh Acres. This man will be taken to the triage center in Fort Myers for evaluation and then the Salvation Army said they will help him out.
At one time ago this camp on Beth Stacy Boulevard had over 30 people in it.
