According to reports a cleaning crew found a decomposed body in a foreclosed home in Lehigh Acres.
The body has been identified as John Hoehn.
Neighbors on Arthur Avenue say he had been squatting in his foreclosed home, but they hadn’t seen him in months.
When two men with the mortgage company were sent to check on the house and clean it up, they found the decomposed body slumped over a nightstand in a bedroom.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says they do not suspect any foul play.
It’s unclear how long ago the man died. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
