Lehigh Acres home where a shooting unfolded Monday has led to an arrest for possession of marijuana with intent to sell – after marijuana were found in the home.

The shooting happen around noon at 732 Gaylord Ave – where Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies found a man had been shot in the abdomen and was taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment.

LCSO Detectives met with resident Saul Ramirez who told them two men came to the home armed with guns and fired at him and the house.

According to the reports Ramirez gave LCSO permission to process the scene to locate projectiles inside a bedroom.

While doing that detectives located a cooler full of marijuana packaged.

The cooler contained eleven individually packaged bags of marijuana. They also found baggies, scales and a vacuum sealer – with the marijuana weighing 12 pounds.

Ramirez then was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell.

The shooting is still under investigation, but authorities say the public is no longer in danger.
