Grow A Gardener (GAG) will be holding a 4-day workshop series on edible gardening taught by Lee County Master Gardeners. Sessions include soil, seeds, water, fertilizer, plant parts, propagation, insects, and vegetables. These classes are being presented by Lee County Master Gardeners and Lee County 4-H. This program is appropriate for those aged 8 to 108.
GAG will be held two consecutive weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 1pm to 4pm. February 7, 8, 14, 15. Workshop is held inside Veterans Park Recreation Center located at 55 Homestead Road South in Lehigh Acres.
This series is FREE thanks to a grant provided by Darden Restaurants. HOWEVER registration is required because of limited seating.
