Autumn Teckenbrock was crowned Miss Spring Festival in 2007. On August 23, 2014, Teckenbrock was crowned Miss Teen Lehigh Acres American Beauty in a Ft Myers pageant.
“I really am enjoying being the winner of a contest like this,” Teckenbrock said. The 16-year-old has now competed at the state level, which started on Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 and earned the title Miss Teen Earth Florida 2015.

Winning the state title in her age group brought with it a $44,000 college scholarship.
Autumn will go to California next summer to represent Florida in the Miss Teen Earth National Pageant.
In July, the contest will be in Los Angeles and if she wins there, the next place she may go will be Poland, so she is getting ready to get a passport. She will be 18 by then, if she wins the title, and can travel alone, but her parents say they want to go too because they are so proud of her. They’ll have to pay their own way.
Teckenbrock said she wasn’t always interested in having a title such as a queen, but this attractive young woman in lower grades played athletics such as soccer. Because of the training and preparing for the next pageant, she has left public school and is being home taught.
But Teckenbrock needs financial help to continue in the chain that could end up with her in Poland.
“I appreciate the sponsors who are helping me, but I do need more help. It will cost around $4,000 to attend nationals and that includes the clothing, the training and a team who will help me in makeup and other things,” Teckenbrock said.
