Family Creates Memorial
For Victim Of Hit-And-Run

A family is pushing for answers after laying their brother to rest after a hit-and-run crash in Lehigh Acres.

Charles Todd Snyder was riding his bicycle on Sunshine Boulevard when he was hit and killed last week. The driver took off.

The love for Todd Snyder was easy to see this afternoon as a large group of family and friends made their way to Sunshine Boulevard to set up a bike as a memorial at the crash site.

Following a service to remember a brother and father taken from them too soon, the Snyder family added a white bicycle to Charles Todd’s memorial.

Family and friends all signed the bike – a fitting way to honor a caring man who loved the outdoors and loved to ride.

Details remains scarce on the crash. Florida Highway Patrol believes it was a light-colored or red car with damage to the right front headlight that ended Todd’s life.

The family needs the community’s help. If you saw anything or know anyone who might have information about the crash, they are asking you contact local law enforcement or FHP.
