On October 11th, 2014, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a past occurred sex crime. Due to the nature of the call, detectives with the Special Victims Unit responded to assume the investigation.
According to investigators, 43 year old Victoria Chaluisant began speaking to a 15 year old boy at her church in Lehigh Acres last February. Sometime during June of this year, the child’s caretakers discovered questionable text messages between the two. On the morning of October 11th, the caretakers discovered that Chaluisant was having a sexual relationship with the boy since April of 2014.
During the investigation, investigators discovered that Victoria Chaluisant would pick up the child up for school and drive him to locations within Lee County, where the two would engage in sexual activity.
During the same time frame, both Chaluisant and the child exchanged nude photographs via phone and internet applications.
Victoria Chaluisant was arrested for one count of Lewd and Lascivious Behavior on a victim aged 12 to 16, one count of Using a 2 Way Communication Device to Facilitate a Felony, two counts of Cruelty Toward a Child – Transmit Information Harmful to Minors, and one count of Traveling to Meet After Using a Computer to Lure Child.
