Neighbors say deputies told them someone had been injured at a home on 29th Street SW in Lehigh Acres, and they were looking for a knife.
“We heard a helicopter and then there were lights everywhere,” said Lehigh Acres resident Dawn Coppens.
Coppens and her neighbors woke up to a sheriff’s helicopter hovering around, at 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Neighbors tell us they believe two men have lived in the home for about two months. They say deputies told them it was a domestic incident.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has not confirmed any information at this time.
