Lee County Sheriff’s Department are searching on the ground and in the air to locate evidence related to an investigation in the 2700 block of Gilbert Avenue .
LCSO are not commenting on details of their investigation however there is a significant area taped off which blocks the end of 27th and 28th Streets and part of Gilbert Avenue.
Neighbors report hearing someone was shot at a home on Gilbert Avenue however no one from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office will confirm why they are there. Deputies were seen in and out of the home most of the morning Sunday.
