Lee County deputies are investigating a death at a Lehigh Acres homes on Thursday.
It was around 6:40 a.m. when Lee County Deputies responded to a home on Queen Court
Deputies thought they were checking out a burglary, but found a body when they arrived at the home.
Deputies confirm 22-year-old Donald White was killed. Sources say White was shot to death.
What neighbors thought was annoying child’s play turned out to be a death investigation.
White’s death blocked off a large portion of the neighborhood.
Detectives are still investigating, but say the community isn’t in any danger.
“There is no suspect on the run,” said Tiffany Wood with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, “Right now, we are conducting a death investigation.”
