A Lehigh Acres woman arrested after reportedly coming after a visitor with a machete.
55-year-old Jodi Malone remains in the Lee County Jail.
The victim told deputies she arrived at Malone’s home on Coolidge Ave Friday morning when Malone answered the door by swinging the blade threatening to kill the woman.
The victim ran back into her car which Malone reportedly hit several times with the blade causing minor damage.
The victim’s friend who drove her there took the machete from Malone and put it in her car until deputies arrived.
Lee County deputies arrested Malone on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after it was discovered the victim suffered a bruise and minor cut.
Malone is also charged with criminal mischief.
