Wednesday, June 4th at 6 – 7: 30 p.m. Join award-winning local artist Donna Thewlis to learn about the art of porcelain painting. This art form has roots in ancient China, and is still alive today. Donna will speak on the techniques and products porcelain painters use, do a live demonstration and give attendees the opportunity to try their hand at the art form during class. All materials will be supplied.

Wednesday, June 25th at 6 – 7:30 p.m. The use of masks for creative, decorative and practical purposes has a long-standing tradition around the globe. Join local artist Kim Arnett as she shares the secrets and history of various types of masks, then create a mask in the well-known Venetian style to take home. All supplies provided.

Saturday, July 26th at 11-1:30 p.m. Award-winning local artist June DeVincent will demonstrate four types of painting medium and answer questions about techniques and products. Participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at any or all of the painting mediums during class. June encourages participants to bring their “masterpieces in progress” to class for some advice and direction. All supplies provided.

Wednesday, August 6th at 6 – 7:00 pm. Join local performance artists Joyce Waltman and Naomi as they share musical selections on both the fiddle and the dulcimer. Folk music, old hymns and original compositions will be played. Learn about the history of these musical instruments and take the opportunity to ask the musicians about their art form.
