The Florida Highway Patrol says one person has died after a crash on St. Road 82 and Corkscrew Rd. All lanes of 82 are blocked but eastbound traffic is passing on the shoulder. It is not know if there are any other injuries at this time. You are asked to avoid the area if possible.
Followup — Six people were injured and one person is dead after a three-vehicle crash in Collier County.
It happened on State Road 82 and Corkscrew Road at around 7:38 p.m.
According to Lehigh Fire officials, six patients were taken to the hospital for injuries.
Both the eastbound and westbound lanes of State Road 82 are shut down. Troopers are allowing vehicles to pass by on the eastbound shoulder.
