Lee County Domestic Animal Services officials responded to their second hoarding case in two days, removing dogs, cats and a turtle from a Lehigh Acres home Friday afternoon.
“We can’t leave them in there, they’re living in the own filth,” said Lt. Tony Backhurst Lee County Domestic Animal Services.
The animals’ owner also lives in the home filled with urine, feces and roaches.
