This fall the Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres will have 51 students enrolled in colleges and universities all across this great nation of ours.
They have been awarded and will be receiving $156,950 in Lehigh Acres Kiwanis Club Foundation scholarships.
This year alone Lehigh Acres Kiwanis Club Foundation will be awarding 16 brand new scholarships to Lehigh Acres residents, while renewing 17 previous recipients, while still having 18 continuing students.
The Lehigh Senior HS students who received scholarships included:
Gonzalo Contreras, Seo Dieng, Rosmery Garcia, Judy-Ann Gauld, Tiffany Herrera, Elisa Nonlall and Stephy Oge
Foundation Director Rick Anglickis said, “All the scholarships are made possible because of the wonderful people who donate and purchase clothing and household items of all kinds from our Kiwanis Thrift Store onHomestead Rd.”
