It’s been a very busy night for area fire departments.
14 brush fires that broke out this evening after a storm moved throughout the area.
One in Lehigh Acres is near Cortez Avenue and West 10th Street.
It’s believed many if not all were caused by lightning.
This fire Cortez Ave burned a half acre.
Firefighters tell us that the rain helped put out many of those fires.
We’re told all the fires are out now.
