Lee County deputies are investigating a death after a deadly shooting in Lehigh Acres Thursday night.
It happened around 7:45 p.m. near 12th Street West and Sunshine Boulevard North.
Upon arrival, deputies found one male had been shot. He was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Major Crimes Unit Detectives responded to investigate.
Lee County Sheriff’s officials say it was an isolated incident, and the community is not in any danger.
