Old Fashioned Auto Service suffered great adversity, mainly the loss of the founder and owner, Hugh Scanlon. After the passing of their mentor Hugh, his son Clifford Scanlon, John Williams, Hugh’s widow Janice and employees got together and decided to keep the business alive in the memory of Hugh.
Not only has the business survived tough economic times but it has grown greatly because we have stayed true to Hugh’s values and business ethics, said Clifford Scanlon. “It’s simple” we hear him saying “treat every customer the way you would like to be treated.”
According to Manager John Williams, Our customers are our family which has grown and multiplied over the 16 years we have been here.
“It’s an extreme honor for us to be recognized for our efforts and we hope to continue to serve Lehigh Acres for many more years to come”, Clifford Scanlon said. We can only hope that we can honor Hugh’s memory and make him proud of keeping everything that he worked so hard for in his life prospering.
