State Road 82 in Lehigh Acres has reopened following two separate cashes involving seven vehicles.
The first was a five-vehicle crash at SR-82 and Green Meadows Road, just east of Sunshine Blvd., around 6:30 a.m.
A second crash happened within minutes at SR-82 and Alabama Road, a few miles east of the five-vehicle crash.
Florida Highway Patrol said there were injuries resulting from both crashes, and people were transported to the hospital by EMS. It is unclear how many transports were made at this time.
