In preparation for the School District of Lee County’s Student Assignment enrollment period, the District’s high schools will host open houses to provide parents and students an opportunity to explore their campuses before they choose a school for 9th grade.
The application period for the Student Assignment process will open on January 21, 2014 and run through March 28, 2014. Parents and students are encouraged to visit schools in their subzones before ranking their school choices on their applications.
Each year, students entering kindergarten, sixth grade and ninth grade participate in the Student Assignment process by ranking their school choices.
The open house dates for middle schools will be released later this week. More details about the Student Assignment process will be released in January.
- East Lee County High: December 10, 2013 (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.)
- Lehigh Senior High: January 15, 2014 (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.)
- Riverdale High: January 13, 2014 (6:30 p.m.)
