A Lehigh Acres mother walks outside Friday morning to find the back window of her new minivan shattered.
As Krystal Shepherd walks to her car, glass is scatter across her driveway.
Nothing was taken from inside the van. The children’s books, toys and even cash is still buried under pieces of tinted glass.
Sitting between the crack of her driveway, Shepherd found 100’s of BBs.
Lee County Sheriff Office PIO said, Shepherd was one of six residents in Lehigh Acres whose car was vandalized overnight.
Deputies are working to find out who is responsible for the crime.
However, the mother of four has a few words for them.
“I want them to know that this isn’t cool. It’s not nice. It’s not funny. What if I had a night time job and I was in the vehicle getting ready to leave and they did this. That’s not fair. That’s scary,” said Shepherd.
