What’s wrong with my tomato plant?

Mr. Gene McAvoy, Lee County’s 5-county UF/IFAS Regional Vegetable Agent, will be speaking to the Lehigh Acres Edible Gardening Exchange on Tomato Diseases and Critters.

Edible Gardening Groups
of the Lehigh Acres Edible Gardening Exchange

Both our adult and youth clubs meet the third Thursday of the month (with the exception of December for the adult group) inside the Veterans Park Recreational Center located at 55 Homestead Road South in Lehigh Acres.

Upcoming meeting: November 21 Tomato Diseases and Insects (Gene McAvoy, Hendry County Extension). Guest speaker is shared by both clubs.

Regular Lehigh Acres Edible Gardening Exchange (ages 8 and up). 7:00-8:30pm year-round with the exception of December. Venue requires $10 lifetime membership fee. Meetings are free. 


Junior Edible Gardening Club 4-H (ages 8-18). 
5pm-6:30pm September through May. $15 membership fee.

Grow A Gardener (GAG). 
An 8-session edible gardening program for ages 8 and up taught by Master Gardeners. 

FREE Master Gardener Hands-on edible gardening Training. Plant, prune, save seeds, attack insects, amend the soil, feed the worm bin, propagate plants, make potting soil, and yes, pull weeds just about every Sunday from 9-11am.
