A Lehigh Acres boy is the neighborhood hero after chasing away a would-be burglar.
Christian Vasquez said he came home from school and found a strange car parked in his driveway.
When he reached his front door he came face-to-face with a man dressed in all black wearing gloves.
Vasquez asked the man, “What are you doing?”
He said what followed was a terrifying attack.
The silent man punched the boy in the stomach twice before running off.
“I was scared.” he explained.
At the end, the boy won the match. The suspect didn’t get inside his home and had been scared off.
The suspect is described as a man in his twenties and is about 6 feet tall.
Vasquez said he was wearing a Yankees hat and a silver cross necklace.
The get-a-way car was described as a black newer Toyota Corolla with tinted windows.
