Kathleen Bolton, age 66, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, with loving family at her side, went home to be with the Lord, on September 29, 2013 after a courageous fight against cancer.
She was born on March 30, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the parents of Lou Emma Bennett and John Andrew Bennett.
After her retirement she moved to Florida and became greatly involved in the American Legion Auxiliary Post #323, continuing involvement in the Order of the Eastern Star and the Senior Citizens Center.
Kathleen, who was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, was survived by her daughter, Bernice Ann (Bolton) Taylor of Dover, TN., two beloved grandchildren, Nathanael Taylor and Joshua Taylor. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers, Gloria Jean Bolton, of Cynthiana, KY., Brenda Karr, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Steve Bennett of Crab Orchard, KY. and John Bennett, Jr. of Lehigh Acres, Fl. She was also survived by countless friends and loved ones. She brought joy and laughter to every single life she touched and will be greatly missed. A memorial will be held on Sat. Oct. 5, 2013 at 1:00pm at the American Legion Post #323 located at 1124 Ashlar Ave. Lehigh Acres, FL 33936 (239-369-3178). Another service will be held at 1:00pm on Sat. Oct 12 at the Battle Grove Cemetery Memorial Hall 531 E. Pike, Cynthiana, KY.
