The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting on the 4921 28th Street SW.
A woman was shot, and sent to the Trauma Center at Lee Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is in custody, and LCSO said there is no danger to the public.
The call came in at 1:20 p.m. as a domestic disturbance.

On August 22, 2013, at 1:20 PM, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call to 4921 28 ST SW, Lehigh Acres, in reference to a domestic incident.
Upon arrival, deputies found a female suffering from a gun shot wound. The preliminary investigation revealed a domestic incident occurred at the residence.
The victim was sent to the Trauma Center at Lee Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
A perimeter was established by responding deputies and the suspect was apprehended.
Due to the nature of the incident, detectives with Lee County Sheriffs Major Crimes Unit responded and assumed the investigation.
This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community.
